February 2021 Summit County Market Update

Real estate market update for Summit County Colorado, including Breckenridge, Keystone, Silverthorne, Dillon, Frisco and Copper Mountain.

Inventory is still very low, right around 150 active listings for the entire county, which is down 10% from January 2021. A lot of our demographics for buyers right now. are coming from the front range (53%). The rest are 16% local buyers, and 30% out of state. Active listings go up in the summer and lessen in the winter months, as owners rent their places in the winter. Sales price reflects this relationship as well, sales price will be higher in the winter months and lower in the summer months. So that's hope the buyers, that are discouraged with the inventory. For sellers, this is a great time to sell, in the winter with lower inventory; we are still having multiple offer situations across the county currently.
